Just for the record you two, it ain't coal bed methane that their after. It's a different process all together. One where coal is "partially burnt" underground and then pressure pummpde to the surface for further ignition in gas fired boilers etc.

As for the VRB systems, that looks a long shot to me as the cost of VRB ESS systems (see VRB Power website in Canada www.vrbpower.com) is estimated to be around US$500 (A$670) per kWh for large systems -which doesn't compare with the generated UCG cost of $35 per MWh. Yes - - I mean't kW and MW respectively.

My guess is that Pinnacle will become a much more important gas provider and generator than VRB ESS technology owner. Hence the Pinnacle Director's constant whining about "looking for a project" in recent years.

My DD also showed that Dr Len Walker owned 6 million Linc Shares and that any study of trade in that stock would suggest that a big seller has just finished selling. Draw your own conclusions. Again suggests that he fell out with Peter Bond (not that what you read about him is particularly complimentary) . . . remember the Linc prospectus suggest Bond took full advantage of the technology at the expense of the guys who actually know what their doing. Looks like they've ended up in Pinnacle now . . . . PCE is a very good future play in my opinion.

Dont forget, second time for the good Dr, so maybe it will take less than a year to get gas produced. Interesting to see where else they get farm-in projects too.
