Fwiw, I think the mandarin was try hard and his content was creepy. I am sure after the initial flattery, Hu would have thought "who's this wally" or the Chinese equivalent.

I have made myself read The Australian and the AFR each day during APEC so as to get a feel for what may lie ahead for Australia ... energy and diversified miners loom large imo.

Tentatively, I take my hat off to FB ... ANU may have legs imo.
