I notice that 2025 is a bit different than the 70s and 80s, gold boom. Markets are thousands of times faster, more reactive, highly controlled and better quality of data. The ability of the market to react quickly makes gold stocks very volatile. Gold might rise a lot higher but can change very quickly with geopolitical events which you have no doubt seen.In the 80s they were using chalk boards.
Nixon had tariff of 10% and therefore Trumps actions should cause gold to rise significantly. Governments have a lot more control than back in the 70s and 80s so you may not see gold rise 2200% but gold might rise 200%.
