It took Apple about four decades to become a trillion dollar company, and then just another a year to go to two trillion. Not to mention the other tech heavy weights shooting the lights out. Covid has just added fuel to the fire, as the sector now seems bullet-proof. This has bubble written all over it. There is so much money chasing tech now.
The difference between 2000 and now, was that in 2000, most people were on the outside of the tech bubble and looking in. Now, they are on the inside and cannot see it. A bit like Australia's housing bubble. The million dollar question is, what on earth would make it pop? I cannot imagine anything, hence why everyone is piling in.
