I went to an Uptime Institute meeting recently for the P2 build … the comment from the international assessor was that NEXTDC data centres are the highest quality centres in the world - bar none. The lengths they go to in managing UTI requirements and then adding to those with their own expectations and meeting the needs of their clients puts them second to none.
Whilst this adds to the pain in building the data centres, it means that customers stick around because they are having their every need met - unlike various other large players in the field, who provide them with a set menu of facility characteristics which are not variable. NEXTDC will custom fit the client's installation to their requirements, and that means the base build has to be able to incorporate those. Since UTI assess the building on the base build, they see the extra effort that NEXTDC goes to.
