I posted this last year https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/32602144/single … as I said then, the whole setup looks familiar. It played out pretty much that way, albeit taking a little longer than I thought because of the good news flows.
Still, I reckon it's the same old crooks coming back for another drink. They find a vulnerable point or two (such as a CR, the AJD quarrel) and beat the sp down to suit. The shorting has provided well over 50% of the liquidity over the last few months, and they can afford to keep pushing considering their base levels are back in the low $3 range.
Methinks they will continue until late Feb when the HY is released, then run with the money after a push upwards.
