Excellent article. Key thought from the article includes the potential importance of the macrocycle class of drugs in drugging PPI;

I gathered from the article that the scientists are looking for validation of a technology which will source macrocycles;
"I think there is an opportunity here for industry, academia and funding agencies to support this cause with certain assets like small libraries, validated assays and computational methods," said Spiros Liras, Pfizer.

This area of research has the scientific and investment community on its feet, looking for the potential of a credible break through.
