One of the absolute must have conditions for Silex to construct a plant at Paducah is a return to favourable global market conditions for the UF6 (uranium) and Swu price. A premium price for new and various spec UF6 for Haleu would be icing on the cake.
Pre Fukashima, Silex was priced either side of seven dollars, despite being at a lesser stage of development. A move like this from the French is a real help to the nuclear outlook and much more relevant to silex than a nuclear debate thread I reckon.
