    Paulson takes over mortgage giants after Morgan Stanley uncover overstate assets and financial report.

    Market, predictably, and foolishly, loves it.

    FTSE futures up 169. DOW futures up 220.


    I hope no one here got caught short. You very unlucky if you did.


    I gather our markets will put on 2-3% today, but really, its a poor outcome for the US govt and US taxpayers to be bailing out billionaire funds.


    I still expect new lows in Sept. But we may get another 2 week bear market rally
