Fridays trading with CER was one I was watching closely all day, particularly the open and close auctions.I'm aware of cross trades and you are right they can help wioth jumping the queue.

At the closing auction there was few trades. There was only one cross trade and it was a "portfolio special crossing" which was not a buy or a sell. Apart from that there was another 4 trades totalling 148,277 shares.

During the day most of the trades were at 18.5c with only a few small trades going through at 18c. The progression through the queue for buys at 18c was so slow that I did not enter a trade to buy at 18c all day. My buy order was at 17.5 and never got close.

I can not see how it was possible to do the trades mentioned for that day. I am open to being corrected and would like to be able to have made those trades on Friday. I am not too old or stubborn to learn how but I am stubborn in looking for an answer to something I find near impossible.
