    The jockeying for access to Madagascars resources has begun.

    There will surely be a number of countries approaching Madagascar to secure favour with the government. It is a shame I can't see the Australian government doing the same - primarily because Madagascar would be seen as another threat to our dominance across the resources sector.

    Once the mining code is ratified I think the flood gates for funding of projects will be opened. Low wages, sensible tax structure, and a clear mandate for both government and private investment in infrastructure.

    I appreciate our board are being conservative, but I would like to see Paul to be more aggressive with relation timelines and bullish with how he talks about the plans and prospects - even if they are high level. I say this with the full knowledge that we only have a scoping study at the moment, and have just started the Pre Feasibility Study, but (for me) the stretch goal should be to breaking ground to go mining in 2025, rather than 2027.

    Anyways, another positive signal about the mining code.
