So as it turns out the Miele wasn't fixed by initial attempts - nor in the end was the dishwasher at fault. A piece of 'shell' pasta had blocked the outlet into the s trap. Sp it seems that no matter how well something is engineered progress can be blocked by other issues. Had the dishwasher been designed in Italy it would have at least been made pasta proof. As for Bene and Par we can only hope that something seemingly trivial is not lurking to cause a blockage at the pointy FDA/TGA end of the line....Just to ward off that possibility no more Dishwasher posts please Mozz.
