Like I declared, I am still very new to this battery revolution but if you say those battery still require a Li component then I'll take your word for it. I had a brief look at another approach by Toyota, their Mirai model that uses hydrogen fuel cells to mitigate the very slow charging process. Did not take off so the market is not comfortable with this strategy for whatever reason.

Fuel cells won't take because the infrastructure for electricity is already there, no need to build a new supply chain.Hydrogen fuel cells have a power-plant-to-wheel efficiency of 22% if the hydrogen is stored as high-pressure gas, and 17% if it is stored as liquid hydrogen.
