At present MAE is like the NASA rocket sitting on the launch pad waiting to take off to the moon.

It may have a calculated speed , fuel loading and projected distance achievable based on hypothetical scientific calculations and extrapolations.

And even if the chief scientist tells you his rocket is a shining, fantastic rocket,and that the delays in blasting off are not so much to do with the unseasonable snow dump on Florida but the ground, the fuel, the pumps etc. and now its that it's sunny in Florida they expect to resume preparing the rocket for launch soon but with still no update on any flight information not dissimilar to all other NASA predictions about takeoff in the past 2 years.

The onlookers may still see the shining good rocket, and yet again have been told that all systems are back on track heading for GO – similar to the past information which due to circumstances proved inaccurate:

BUT THE DAMN ROCKET IS STILL ON THE GROUND

and the rockets’ current speed & distance travelled is ZERO.
NASA has not advised any information to the contrary – apart from hopeful predictions re future launch dates. THE distance from the rocket to the MOON has not altered.

The onlookers are enthusiastic , especially the singing kookaburra in the tree at the end of the runway but there is simply no point in stating that the ROCKET has launched and WE HAVE TAKEOFF if the DAMN thing is still in full view on the LAUNCHPAD with no announcements from NASA !
