Aristocrat should move higher over the next few days as the release of the US analysis draws near (probably Monday). We expect heads to roll in senior management in Australia which should boost the share price. While this is not a reason to fundamentally buy the stock given that there is a lot more work to be done to restore confidence and at this stage it is only our opinion of how events will unfold, there is a short term trading opportunity if you can buy the shares around $1.60 this morning. In the euphoria of a management clean out the shares could go back toward $1.80/$2.00 at which time the stock should be sold. Note that this recommendation is not for conservative investors, is somewhat of a punt and should not be a significant part of a portfolio as it is high risk. Short term trading buy. Fundamentally, ALL is still an Avoid until more financial/management information and strategic direction is forthcoming.
