Mag compounds the error
IT seems that even the good people at the Australian Shareholders' Association occasionally make mistakes.
A recent edition of the lobby group's Equity magazine touched on the trials and tribulations over at Ventracor, and referred to the medical device maker being placed "under the administration of Cowen & Company".
While it's no secret that Ventracor is running out of money fast, it has yet to raise the white flag.
"Please note that the company is not 'in administration'," the association clarified in the latest issue of the mag, out last week, "and we apologise for any confusion that this postscript may have caused".
Still, with corporate lucky charm, Elizabeth Nosworthy of Commander Communications and Babcock & Brown-fame sitting on Ventracor's board, it was an easy mistake to make.
Meanwhile Ventracor's shares have been in a trading halt since Friday, pending a material announcement that could affect its negotiations with potential investors or acquirers.
