MAG (Summary) - On The Cusp of a Major Discovery, page-1550

For those that are new to MAG or looking at MAG; go to the start of this thread for a big summary on everything MAG - some things are a bit outdated but most things still apply - especially being on the cusp of a major discovery.

We're still waiting on a discovery, so getting in now, you're saving yourself a year of waiting (compared to a few holders on here), getting in at a cheaper valuation, and targets are more advanced with a year's worth of drilling.


In relation to discoveries, especially in MAG's area, Newcrest originally drilled the Ridgeway target and got back results of 8m @ 0.42g/t Au, 0.51% Cu (what most HC posters would call a duster).


Then they drilled under and about 50m to the West of that original hole and got back 102m @ 0.13g/t Au, 0.40% Cu (what most HC posters would call a duster).


Then they drilled about 300m to the West of the first hole and got a complete duster, with no significant results (what most HC posters would say is the end of the world and worst management on the ASX).


They then drilled about 200m to the East of the original hole and also got a complete duster there, with no significant results  (what most HC posters would say is the end of the world and worst management on the ASX).


They then drilled under and about 150m-200m to the West of the original hole and got back:

- 145m @ 4.30g/t Au, 1.20% Cu, AND
- 52m @ 0.94g/t Au, 0.24% Cu, AND
- 84m @ 7.40g/t Au, 1.27% Cu, AND
- 15m @ 0.77g/t Au, 0.54% Cu - all from the same (discovery) hole



So, Ridgeway, pre-discovery results were (a couple hundred meters away from discovery hole):
- 8m @ 0.42g/t Au, 0.51% Cu
- 102m @ 0.13g/t Au, 0.40% Cu


Now, think about those Ridgeway results/sequence when you think about MAG's drill results (in the same area, chasing something similar) and what could come with any further hole/result after the results that MAG has had so far at:


Rose Hill:
- 71m @ 0.30g/t Au, 0.42% Cu, 57ppm Mo (historical hole)

- 63m @ 0.15% Cu, 0.06g/t Au, 75ppm Mo (incl. 7m @ 0.38% Cu, 0.13g/t Au, 411ppm Mo) (recent hole)


Kingswood:
- 70m @ 0.54% Cu, 0.15g/t Au (historical hole)

- 382m @ 0.20% Cu to end of hole (incl. 33.8m @ 0.42% Cu (recent hole)


Lady Ilse:
- 71m at 0.43% Cu, 0.30g/t Au (historical hole)

- 13m @ 0.72g/t Au, 0.36% Cu, AND
   41m @ 0.25g/t Au, 0.11% Cu (both from one/same recent hole)

- 67m @ 0.22g/t Au, AND
   54m @ 0.18g/t Au, AND
   23m @ 0.27g/t Au (all from one/same recent hole)

- 50m @ 0.27g/t Au, 0.04% Cu (incl 18m @ 0.45g/t Au, 0.08% Cu), AND
  10m @ 0.87g/t Au, 0.06% Cu, AND
  17m @ 0.77g/t Au, 0.04% Cu (incl 1m @ 6.14g/t Au, 0.15% Cu), AND
  4m @ 1.11g/t Au (all from one/same recent hole)


Will get an announcement of commencement of drilling at Lady Ilse in the next day or so (3 DD holes, drilling close to/under above mentioned results (ie. 13m @ 0.72g/t Au, 0.36% Cu) (ie. like Newcrest did with the Ridgeway discovery by drilling under: 8m @ 0.42g/t Au, 0.51% Cu)).
