My thoughts on todays announcement - This is actually the beginning for MAG, and they are actually now potentially on the cusp of a major discovery

However, with kilometer deep holes, the $5m kitty won't last long, so the strategy from here will be pretty interesting.

Do they run a series of shallow holes to determine boundaries of mineralization closer to the surface (like ALK has done between Boda and Kaiser), or do they drill more deep holes immediately, with associated capital raises, or do they seek a deeper pocketed JV partner early to fund the next steps in defining the resource. Or do they seek a takeover?

As we have seen with Alkane, the amount of drilling required for a deep porphyry is significant, with no guarantees of finding the high grade core easily.
