You do make a lot of sense, and I don’t think your problem is that you woke up on whatever side of your bed, but I do think your imagination is lacking on the left brain... or is it right brain... I never got that stuff.
Here’s the thing: you rightly identify sovereign risk in Africa. But then you imagine the Big World functioning according to Hoyles; conforming to the required arc of history; the solemn forecasts of Bloomberg and the Economist magazine; etc. What could possibly go wrong?
Whereas I tend to see the Big World as more like Africa.
