the post by Olay assuring customers that the device is the result of scientific research and patented tech is not to answer existing scepticism but is more a case of marketing to get out in front and highlight the difference between Magnemasks and the hundreds of cheap massage devices that have come and gone over the years (many given away by Olay itself). i.e. to head off the scepticism that would many customers would naturally have.

Regarding the video hits.. I don't believe those million plus hits are people actually clicking to watch a video. The videos are being fed to them as ads i expect. Still its important... that's P&G paying to push our tech.
