Just want to spell out some thoughts!

As a young investor I have been interested in exploration companies that show good potential to make the step up to production.

Please see the site below that I came across when I wanted clarification over the difference between hematite and magnetite ore.

    http://www.gindalbie.com.au/Our+Projects/Magnetite+vs.+Hematite/default.aspx

I found this a good little read up on the difference between hematite and magnetite iron ore.

So combining what was said in the site to ZNC's most recent announcement, here are two important things I got from it.

In March 2010 Zinc Co announced an Exploration Target* at Mount Alexander of 0.6 to 1.2 billion tonnes of magnetite iron ore at a grade of 25% to 35% iron. This estimate was based on three diamond drill holes, metallurgical testing of drill core, detailed surface mapping and extensive surface sampling data.

Davis Tube Recovery Tests indicate that Mount Alexander mineralization can produce a concentrate with grade of 69.9% Fe and 3% SiO2

So with some good drilling results they have the potential to significantly increase their resource, they are also reasanobly close to port. I find them quite an attractive spec buy.

Just wanting to hear anyone else's opinion as any advice will be much appreciated!
