I stand corrected. I thought that the mill in Whyalla had been using Magnetite for far longer than just the last few years. The important point from the Treadgold article is that no-one except Treadgold would consider that magnetite is technically challenging. It is a current and future feed stock for profitable steel mills globaly. As for supply/demand and the world swamped with Hematite......"I dont think so". Its a fool who is calling oversupply at this junture in time.
