Thing is, eagle, (both your posts) I entirely agree that hers was a great story and a great and moving victory for her and her brother, and all the connections today, BUT I felt the 'get stuffed' remark was a mistake and detracted from it.
I put that point of view to my daughter and her response was that it was her day and her platform and if she didn't speak then, when she had an audience, then when would she? Fair enough point, but the goodwill was there in spades and I just think the remark detracted somewhat.
