All the major players in the battery world are pouring hundreds of millions of $$ into expanding their output capacity and also hundreds of millions of $$ into R&D...like our old friend KoH liked to say - GAME OVER
However, all those Giga factories being built around the world as we speak will be scrambling for high purity natural flake Graphite, Cobalt, Nickel, Lithium and a few more bits and pieces.. I would say by 2019 the pressure for those will be on.
