That is a pretty big call saying that a funds management business is launching a takeover bid to increase share price so they can be paid performance fees. If this was true, why would Magnolia be selling the stock under 3c (i just checked their last notice)? Their offer price is also based on an independent experts report that AU1 engaged. Plus, they came in at the last raise a at 6.5c so presume they have reported the loss position to their investors.

IMO, I think Magnolia knows that the only way they are getting their money out is by taking this over. The part I am stuck on is why the board is not engaging with them. I have a very small position and feel the pain of trying to get out.

I guess the only way we will know if Magnolia is interested is if they follow through.
