lol year after year - along the same stretch of cycleway - there is a wattle bird protecting her bit of turf during nesting time...
after the first swoop - watso decided for the time being to avoid that bit of the cycleway - and damn it all, after going a different route a few times - got swooped by a magpie .
lucky that watso always wears a cap to prevent the solar panels on his bald knob from overcharging and immediately has something to wave around..
anyway spring is a lovely time of the year - with new life..
mum and dad swan look after their lil ones - and watso likes this type of duck - also where mom and dad are very very very protective of their brood - oh and mum and dad look after them for a long time - probably through duck puberty, teen and adolescent
remember the days when everyone had chooks - and the bantam hen was the best mom .. the idea was to have chickens from any breed - being mothered by a bantam hen .
wow - watso is showing his age .
for what it is worth - but 25 years ago, watso still had chooks... mmm as watso types this - and looks outside the window, he can see the chook house, where the chooks would sleep the night - mmmmm - now hosting a couple of pushies
