I sympathise with the view that we should pay no dividend and reinvest monies back into the business. However, as we transition from a high growth adventure, into a mature corporate, we need take on the persona of a top listed company, and in Australia that means paying a dividend. Institutional investors and the wider public expect this of a top 100 company. So I am comfortable pandering to this prejudice.
