An interim would be a very nice surprise.

I think there's a lot of interesting, and likely very good value, stocks in the market at the moment. AMU is the smallest that I follow or hold, but a few mid-caps that I think are good value for long-term investing include: ALS, BKN, ASB, VPG, BBG, CTX, the big 4 banks, SGB to name a handful. All look good value on a combination of the expected 2008 figures (PE and yield primarily) in comparison to a combination of either their growth potential or historical norms for the stock. If I had more money, or the market wasn't as volatile, I'd happily buy those I don't already own.
