Just gives a hint of what may be in Cuerpo 3 and doesn't seem too unreasonable as an order of magnitude estimate given the announced drill plans and sections.


In plan view the 0.1 % Cu shell covers nearly the entire 500x700m. At 0.3% Cu Eq 50% plus of this area would be an estimate.

Long Section is pretty much the same.

HIGH GRADE
Using Cascabel's high grade core as an example, some 15% (or in this case probably more - but to be conservative? 15%) of the total volume could be attributed to the higher grade zone in Cuerpo 3 at Cortadera.

Combining the high and low grade suggests an initial conservative estimate of 2-2.5Mt Cu Eq. within 4-500 Mt grading <=0.5% Cu Eq.

This is just playing around for weekend amusement.

Obvious incremental tons in Cuerpos 1,2 and 4 where follow up drilling is required. Low priority at present?

Other targets Cortadera North and Cuerpo 3 North tantalise.

These multiple targets will all need to be well mineralised to put Cortadera into the league of Escondida which is also a series of related deposits with total resources in the 10+- Bt (?how big. Portergeoscience - Escondida gives a hint but figures are dated)

To put Escondida into context with Cortadera:


2019 grades at Escondida appear to be around 0.6+% Cu with no significant gold in multi billion tons of Measured/indicated and no mention of inferred. Production rate is 1.2 Mt or so of refined copper per year. Resource estimate above gone in 2 years!

Cortadera may not be in quite the same league as Escondida but if the drilling at Cuerpo 3 continues to prove up an economically viable deposit and the surrounding zones kick in as well then who knows.
