Why sell for 65 cents, and bend over for the tax office, when you can sell in 12months, maybe take $2 plus, and use those profits to offset some rather lenghty losses accumulated from the other specs.

To sell out now, you don't do the other specs any favours.

For my own, I will sell and buy back a long hold stock at a loss, to accumulate said losses, against a superstar like MAK.


That way, i lock in rock bottom entry prices on the specs, gee wiz, even stocks like PEM who is no spec,

That way, with CGT relief on longs, even at break even redemption of sold down stocks, I return ahead.

It does rely apon a superstar to make profits for it to work for me.
