If we take NWS and REA at their market prices (using share prices), the value of 61.4 % of REA (owned by NWS) represents a valuation of 13.2 bn vs NWS market cap of 18.7 bn.
Of course, if we add NWS other holdings, I estimate the sum of the parts at around 50 AUD per share (see details in another post in this thread), largely above last share price (around 31 AUD).
