As you can probably guess, given the low valuation (based on FY 20 results), there are still some serious questions about the stability of these earnings for NZME.
Main problem : 50 % of their revenues comes from non digital ads (radio and print).
What's comparable to NWS : their valuation depends on what value you take for their digital asset (One Roof) and what agreement FB and Google could sign with publishers in NZ (so far no equivalent to what they have decided to pay to Australian media).
