I'd welcome a takeover by BHP also @maxd . The reason i'd be surprised if they made a move is that they're a big slow giant who will wait until rare-earths is a big proven business before taking a stake..Lynas is the only producer outside of China to have proven themselves taking a rare-earths project from dream to production..despite the efforts of the Malaysians to rerail them. Australia (Nolans) provides them the opportunity to reduce their sovereign risk exposure..bring some operations back home
