I thought Shirley spoke very well and looked very well (considering) for someone with MND for 4 years. I don't know what I expected but I know she exceeded whatever that expectation was.
What I loved is the selflessness and she seemingly is being rewarded for that. Absolute hero, one of many, many, many people who do enter clinical trials with no expectations other than to hope their efforts and contribution will one day make a difference and most unlikely to help them directly.
