I have been Naive in thinking that I could understand this chessboard.
The moves on the board are not clever strategy, they are a drunken dance of musical chairs and looks like GS, Buffet and Soros control the music. Putin, China, Middle East ect, may by taking pawns and advancing towards end game, but US still control the board.

I am guessing that the POG is set by so many people trying to do the same thing, and that has filled the POG with hot air, how much remains to come out, probably not much.
Gold can no longer be tracking money supply - not closely anyway.
