Timber, your candidness is much appreciated. But I think there is a wee hole in the argument. The smoking guns... like a zillion of them... point to illegal manipulation. I know that is under the realm of 'such is life' and '$hit happens'.
But do you consider confidentiality supercedes legality. That is, if a group of banksters do something completely illegal, are they all governed by confidentiality to 'perjure' themselves.
I am just curious to the thinking of the insiders. That is, 'the boss told me to do something illegal on behalf of Ben Ber..., sorry, I mean, on behalf of a client, therefore I am bound by confidentiality, and in my job I must follow orders, therefore my illegality becomes OK.'
