    yes, one should never jump to conclusions.

    For when it is all boiled down, the only people to ever know the real truth of any such intimate situation/tragedy, not just now but over history, are the people who were actually present and involved. We can all surmise - yet know nothing. And destroy reputations in the process.

    So much speculation - so much ignorance - so much nastiness - gossip can be very destructive, AND unfair.

    There is a tendency these days to want to stick our noses into everyone's business. And analyze it to death. And give OUR opinion on how others should run their lives.

    Perhaps we should learn to attend to our own affairs more closely - and leave others to go about their private business in peace.
