Hi Charl
If you check TAP's various announcements there have been a few comments about Maitland.
This snippet comes from the latest March Quarterly report :
"Analysis and interpretation of Maitland-2 and 3H appraisal wells by the permit operator was continuing during the
period with results due for release and discussion at the WA-33-R Joint Venture technical committee meeting in
May. "
A recent AGM meeting on 24 April saw the Chairman make this comment :
"· The WA-33-R block holding the Maitland gas and condensate field, where a follow-up
flow test and appraisal well is planned for later this year; this well will provide data to
optimize any development design and engineering. Success here will result in a
significant reserves increase to Tap, "
And one of the presentation slides by the CEO had this information :
" Maitland-2/3H appraisal well drilled
and tested in Sept/Oct 2007
Maitland-3H flow tested at surface
constrained rate of ~6 MMscf/d
Well test, core and petrophysical
analysis nearing completion
Further appraisal drilling and flow
testing expected to commence in
Q3/Q4 2008
Rapid field development and tie back
to existing infrastructure could
facilitate a production start-up in late
2010 "
Hope that answers your question charl
