I too am very happy with this announcement, not Vale (yet) but they will be a little more inclined to stay on the right side of AVB with Xstrata on the inside. The very best news in all this is that Xstrata are IN, what ongoing riches this will bring. I have heard some things said here about the AVB management, but in my mind these guys are good.
