The RC program was a scout drilling program to identify large "halos" that exist around high grade shoots and to get into the vicinity of the high grade shoots. The next round of drilling will utilize "vectoring" that came from this first program and is very similar to techniques utilized in drilling for nickel.
We are drilling for high grade shoots that may be 10-20 meters wide contained within a block several kms square and buried by 50 meters of overburden. Why did you assume that a first pass scout program would find the veins? This is NOT a bulk tonnage style of deposit, nor does it break the surface
The technique works as ALL of the holes on the Blue Spec deposit have so far hit the high grade veins. The fact that we now have 9 such targets identified and potential vein systems vectored is IMHO extremely encouraging. We are utilizing very sophisticated "minefinder" technology here and it is not unusual that the general public does not have a clue as to what is going on.
IMHO this IS now a play built around the "drillout" of multi-millions of ounces of gold. One of the targets called Apex crosses into Wedgetail ground (WTE) where they are drilling out on surface open pittable gold at very high grades scatterd over many kilometers.
The targets are all huge and the potential is enormous. There is no-one currently searching for gold in Australia that has anything approaching the unique potential of NWR. Look at the high grade hits at Blue Spec to get a sense of what is going on (1,000 ozs of gold per meter).
