Very true thorburn. The key words being, "independent thinking people"

From K.Rudds perspective these people are not his main concern now. His concern is people who wholly supported the idea of getting a share of profits risk free.

So, if/when he backflips on this or significantly waters it down he will have exponentially increased those voting against him.

I'm expecting a host of rabbits to be pulled out of hats any day now to try and smooth them over.
