Most of the titanium is tied up in the titanomagnetite crystal lattice and is very difficult to extract - otherwise the south africans would be doing it already.
Windimurra is not the largest "proven" ore reserve.
Balla Balla (AXO) has "proven" that it has Australia's largest total (Proved and Probable combined) Ore Reserve and it is also the highest grade correctly reported Ore Reserve in Australia.
Investors should be aware that under the guidelines for reporting (supposedly policed by the ASX) the term "proved ore reserve" has no meaning. The correct terminology is Proved or Probable.
