Reminds me of when I contracted to a manufacturer run by Accountants and Marketers. I said you need redundancy for a few critical systems and a decent safety stock and they got rid of me.

Six months later. Major interruption of a critical system. Out of Stock, couldn't supply. Out of business.


Redundancy is important. Engineering, IT, and operations is hard. We just don't make a fuss.

Things go wrong. Things rarely fail, but they do sometimes. Plan for it


Redundancy and contingency planning is worth funding.
