It might be true that the modern portfolio theory teaches that one should`nt put all eggs into one basket. On the other hand, try reading one of the most famous investing books "The Zurich Axioms" which suggest "resisting the allure of diversification". However, I feel very comfortable with my current portfolio share of 40 percent.
