    Speaking at a Macquarie briefing, coal industry expert Gerard McCloskey forecast that coking coal prices would exceed $140/t in 2008, with low-vol PCI prices expected to exceed $110/t. He expects tightness in the coking coal market to extend to at least 2010. For thermal coal, McCloskey forecasts prices of $83/t in 2008, similar to current spot prices.
