I note that WSA is the 35th most shorted stock according to The Shortman website [1]. That is quite small percentage short interest.
There are shorted stocks in uptrends like ING (2nd), NXT (11th), A2M (36th). But I will acknowledge that most of the highly shorted stocks are in downtrends. The most notable example, SYR (1st) is very bearish.
Stockradar have not yet added WSA to their portfolio. They ended up waiting another week for confirmation for price to close on Friday greater than $2.40. With WSA closing today at $2.30, Stockradar won't be taking the trade next Monday.
