Beats me too. Thats why i want it looked into.
The critearia ASIC uses to acknowledge manipulation is being met at present by MAEs price behaviour.
I think its manipulation by brokers under instruction or in collusion keeping the price low. Why? I've offered my reasoning on that.
And i think the reason why we havent had any major shareholder announcements is that no one investor has increased a shareholding over 5%.
After speaking with Jeff and Peter, they said (as of 13 Nov) there were 500 new investors that have joined the register in the last 2 weeks. To me, i would think they are US investors crossing to our bourse with a recent change of laws permitting it.
(Aust investors have had plenty of time to join MAE, so this is obviously a new market that has opened up thats why i say the US).
Internationally, we can now access and trade foreign exchanges more easily.
I read it about 3 weeks back, but the details elude me for now.
