This certainly wasn't the news I was expecting, but it doesn't seem all too terrible.
If he was the second largest shareholder, he probably would have got in at low low prices. He stuck around and waited for 12 months to get 50% capital gains discount and got rid of some of his share.
Paper profit isn't a profit until you realise it. So I guess its time for him to realise some of his profits.
