it's not uncommon for audit firms to come across fraud. in my audit days at kpmg I came across it. at the end of the day it's a client, they pay you money, if you find fraud you raise it and then the forensic accountants come in. so yes I know they audit companies that have fraud, that's one of many reasons why companies get audited in the first place. I really don't get where you are coming from here.
