have a look at the daily chart, theres a gap at 52 and another one around .525 and also the high from the original breakout on dec 05 is a high of 52 cents.
so the fact you have gaps offering support and the fact the previous resistance is now support is why your seeing on the buysell depth large volume sitting @ .52.
also large buyers waiting at 50cents, as a whole number. just like you see sub 10cents stock run to 10cents and fall away from it, and like a 90cent stock will find resistance at 1.00 for no real particular reason.
